Oppo RX17 Pro review

Introduction The un-flagship-y flagship from Oppo - the Oppo RX17 Pro or also known as the Oppo R17 Pro in China with the same hardware, though. A feature-rich device with a sleek design, capable hardware and rather questionable use case of the third camera on the back. However, there are quite a few things that raise the coolness factor of the handset and the in-display fingerprint is one of them. Also, it's no secret that this phone is a close relative to the OnePlus 6T but the RX17 Pro has a few unique selling features of its own too - a clear case of sibling rivalry. Don't expect any awe-inspiring sliding mechanism in Find X-esque fashion or Snapdragon 845-like performance but the 3D TOF sensor on the back of the phone has some potential that we hope Oppo will unlock with future updates because for now, the functionality is rather limited. On the other hand, the usable under-display fingerprint reader and the stupid fast SuperVOOC charging make for a less gim

Honor 10 Lite review

Introduction The Honor 10 Lite is the latest addition to the brand's mid-range lineup and it hopes to ride on the success of the original Honor 10. So how did Honor go about making a Lite version of a phone, which is already somewhat of a Lite version of the flagship Huawei P20? Well, for one, the feature set has been trimmed across the board starting from the chipset, going through the camera and ending with the connectivity set. But that doesn't mean this is a bad phone. The Honor 10 Lite is still an embodiment of the great value phones we've come to know the brand for. For about 30% lower price tag than the original Honor 10, the 10 Lite has the same size battery, a larger screen with a smaller notch, the memory is now expandable via a microSD slot and right from the get-go it comes out with the latest Android 9 Pie. In comparison, the Honor 10 still hasn't got an update to Pie yet. Honor 10 Lite specs: Body: 154.8 x 73.6 x 8mm, 162 grams, plastic

ZenFone Max M1 and Lite L1 hands-on review

Introduction The ZenFone Lite L1 and the ZenFone Max M1 are two of Asus' latest smartphones that also happen to be the cheapest the brand has to offer. These are entry-level smartphones usually for first time buyers, with the Lite L1 being the more affordable of the two and the Max M1 being similar but with a few extra features and bling for the more discerning customer with slightly deeper pockets. The two phones are quite similar, however. They both have the same chipset, the same display, and the same camera on the back but the Max does come with a few extra features such as a larger battery, more memory, fingerprint sensor and an improved camera on the front. Asus Zenfone Max M1 ZB556KL specs: Design:  Polycarbonate Display:  5.45-inch, 1440x720 IPS LCD, 18:9 295 PPI, 2.5D glass Rear Camera:  13MP, f2.0 PDAF, 1080p30 video, LED flash Front Camera:  8MP f2.0, LED flash Chipset:  Qualcomm Snapdragon 430, 1.4GHz octa-core Cortex-A53, Adreno 505 Memory:  3GB LPDD

Huawei Mate 20 X review

  1. Introduction, specs, unboxing 2. Design and spin 3. Display, battery life, speakers, audio quality 4. Software 5. Performance and benchmarks 6. Camera features, image quality 7. Portraits, aperture, selfies, video quality 8. Alternatives, pros and cons, verdict Huawei Mate 20 X specification User opinions and reviews Review comments (73) Introduction Arriving a few months after the rest of the Mate 20 series phones, but considered by many as the best phone in the family, the Mate 20 X is finally stepping in by offering all the screen real estate you could possibly want in a phone. Better late than never, as the old saying goes. The Mate 20 X was among the most interesting Mate 20 phones, but it never really saw the light of day outside of a few Southeast Asian countries. Not until recently, that is. The Mate 20 X has now launched in a few European markets and while the chances are that the P30 is already around the corner, the Mate 20 X has niche of its own.

Xiaomi Mi 8 long-term review

  1. Introduction 2. Design, display, camera 3. Performance, battery life, software 4. Frustrations, niggles, annoyances 5. Conclusion Xiaomi Mi 8 specification User opinions and reviews Review comments (19) Introduction The Xiaomi Mi 8 was launched to mark the company's eight-year anniversary and named accordingly. Still, while a ten-year anniversary may hold more significance in the western world (see Apple's iPhone X), for the Chinese 8 seems to be it. The number 8 is quite interesting. It's perceived to be the luckiest number in Chinese culture. It's because saying it in Chinese sounds really similar to the word that means "to generate wealth", as a Wikipedia article would readily tell you. Hence, people are used to paying skyrocketing amounts of money for anything from car license plates that feature at least one 8, to phone numbers that get progressively more expensive the more eights they incorporate. So is the Mi 8 worthy of proudly wearin

Motorola Moto G7 review

Motorola Moto G7 review   1. Introduction, specs, unboxing 2. Design, 360-degree spin 3. Lab tests - display, battery life, loudspeaker, audio quality 4. User interface, performance 5. Camera quality 6. Alternatives, pros and cons, verdict Motorola Moto G7 specification User opinions and reviews Review comments (23) Introduction Seven generations into it, the Moto G is now a whole four-player lineup instead of just one phone like it was in the good old days. Here we'll focus on the namesake of the 2019 roster - the Moto G7 proper, to see if it still has some of that great value the original was famous for. At first glance, the Moto G7 isn't missing any of the requisites of a modern phone, and it better not be - at $300 or €250 it's some 50% more expensive than the Moto G was in 2013, even accounting for inflation. For your money, you'd be getting a 6.2-inch display, and to be fair that's 70-odd percent more screen area that the Moto G - on that me
